TORQEEDO CRUISE 4.O FP
THE POD DRIVE
Voila....this is it. The old engine, the tank, the tubes, the smell, the fuel, the holes for emission and cooling water are all gone. They are being replaced by this little shining plug inside the boat, and the sleek pod and folding propeller underneath it.

TEAMING UP WITH INTERNATIONAL OCEAN RESEARCH PROJECT:
DEE CAFFARI MBE
"I am delighted to support this team of sailors making a bold statement of intent with regards to the climate crisis we face today. We are all in a race against time to make a difference to save our planet and this project is showing us the way. I hope you will feel encouraged to challenge your own decisions and choices in life to become more sustainable and follow and support this wonderful team in their goals."

FROM WORDS TO ACTION!
Our young team and crew members have participated to be part of a climate statement and to raise awareness about how to live a more sustainable lifestyle – onboard a sailboat while having fun. Inspiring others to join the race we have to win – United Nation’s Agenda 2030.
We started 2018 in Oslo, Norway. We sailed electric, for the climate and for change. We have collected 7.660 nautical miles, living onboard while striving for six major missions:
FOSSIL FUEL FREE
FEMALE RACING CREW
100% Sun Wind Water and “ACT 2020 – Racing Awareness For Agenda 2030” is an endorsed project by United Nations Environmental Programme’s campaign Clean Seas.
A CLEAN SEAS ART STATEMENT!
We love to use Ocean Artivism to create awareness – here is a glimpse from our "Toxic Free Coating Art". In 2020, we painted young graffiti artist Julia Maldonado's art on the hull with a toxic-free coating from our partner SeaBoost. Together with our zero-waste policy, the toxic-free lifestyle is a hot topic in the Clean Seas' goal and mission. Check out more in our blog post from the launch.
