Sail-off for "Gotland Runt Unplugged"
After a hectic week - installing an updated Torqeedo pod engine, finalizing detailed ocean art on the hull, and preparing food within our zero waste policy, the five racing crew members Hanna, Siri, Hanna, Elin, and Inez pressed the start button. Sailing off for an unfortunate COVID-19 canceled race, but doing our version anyway – "Gotland Runt Unplugged". Setting off for a racing/training adventure in potential rough winds and 270 Nautical Miles. Ok, lets go...270 Nautical M

Ocean Artivism in action
We are proud to unveil some hardcore Ocean Artivism by talented and creative Julia Maldonado, who could not travel in to Sweden from Mexico to paint her art herself (due to COVID travel restrictions). We simply did it for her instead – well, simply is not the right word, but we used a projector and connected via Facetime to solve the toughest challenges. Haha, we will never count the hours spent under that hull...with our paint brushes holding the slim widths of only 5-20 mil

Greeting from Dee!
We are immensely grateful and proud of the support given to us by our Project Patron Dee Caffari MBE. One of the world's most experienced sailors. Her cheering for our team is so inspiring, magic and of course extremely valuable. To have her call into our launch and share her trust and experiences for a moment, was even more magic. Kolfiberrodret – first race!
We attended our first race on the list – a double-handed, round-the-clock, race in Stockholm Archipelago. Corona had shut down the Lidingö Runt Race but this one was open. First all-female race for Hanna Torlén and Siri. And they followed through with a great performance! The race's promotion theme is: "Not straight, but crooked" so they keep all the crews very busy with lots of rounding marks and zig-zag sailing in the sometimes rocky and shallow archipelago waters. A Faceti

Magic launch under the sun, in the wind and by the water!
What a day. Stockholm is at its best. We gathered on the pier by Glashuset, Kajplats 18 along Strandvägen in the city center. Friends, guests, and followers came and we managed to get almost everything ready for take-off... Round the world sailor, ambassador for change, and our dear Project Patron, Dee Caffari MBE, zoomed in from the UK to be part of our launch on the screen – meeting the team and our guests and sharing the magic moments under the sun. Launch delayed, racing schedule changed, project developed!
We gave the project the name ACT 2020 for a reason... and we will act despite the turbulent times and the consequences of Covid-19. Launching while celebrating World Environment Day on June 5th was a dream of ours. We will still celebrate World Environment Day, but we decided to push our launch a week forward in order to get everything set and to await new decisions on travel restrictions within Sweden (the Swedish government announced today that people in Sweden without symp
